God’s Thoughts Toward Me

God, the Creator, the King of Kings, constantly thinks of us! The following are some reminders of these precious thoughts. You are valuable to God and He cares for you!

When God thinks of you…

He is thinking about His amazing creation – Psalm 139:14-16 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

He thinks about your well-being – Psalm 23

He thinks about your frailty – Psalm 103:13,14 “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

He thinks about you as you truly are and loves you Psalm 139:1 “O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

He thinks about your needs – 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Matthew 6:8b “…for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”
John 14:14 “If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.”

He thinks about your pain and feels it with you as He helps you through it – Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

He thinks about His love for you and His desire for a relationship with you – Jeremiah 31:3 “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”

He thinks about the path you take on this earth and He makes a way – Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

He thinks about your need for companionship – Genesis 2:18 “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”
Romans 12:10 “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;”
Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”

He thinks about how fear can control you and gives you something to rely on
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Phillippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

He thinks about the future peace He plans for you – Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

He thinks about His purpose for you – Psalm 138:8 “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”
